Tableau Partners can no build their own custom connectors for Tableau. To show off this feature I'm showing you how the Datorama connector takes advantage of this capability.

Tableau release notes.

Tableau has great connectivity that allows you to visualize data from virtually anywhere. In addition to dozens of built-in connectors for Tableau, you'll find more connectors built by Tableau partners in the Tableau Extension Gallery(Link opens in a new window). For more information about using partner-built connectors, see Use Partner-Built Connector from the Extension Gallery.https://help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/en-us/gallery_connectors.htm
